Pastor Sam Degner has served Bethel since 2005. He grew up in Minnesota and studied at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, where he met his future wife, Mandy. After college, he attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon; during which time he and Mandy spent his vicar year in Mexico. Upon graduating from the seminary, he was assigned to Bethel. The Degners have been blessed with three children.

Pastor Phil Hunter was assigned to our congregation upon his graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in May 2015. He grew up in the Madison area and studied at Martin Luther College in New Ulm before the seminary. He spent his vicar year at Faith Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, Georgia.   Pastor and Andrea Hunter enjoy playing with their dog, Gretl.

Ruth Fenske is the smiling face you'll see first if you stop by our building on a school morning. She has served part-time as our church and school secretary since 2010. A long-time member of Bethel, she had been retired until taking on her new role in our congregation.
God's house. God's family. God's work.
